I fell in love with our couple the moment I met them, Colin asked me to capture his proposal and it was just the sweetest moment I had ever witnessed. As the months of wedding planning went on, they started feeling more at home with the idea of having an intimate elopement in the great wilderness of the PNW, I relished in the chance to make the day special for them. So on a windy April Tuesday, we all ventured out to Alder Lake, in the Washington Wild, and watched as the two of them made promises to one another, while a friend strummed on his guitar. There was so much love, and tears, hopes and truth, it was a amazing experience. In lue of a traditional minister, Colin and Ashley recited their own vows to one another, and I being a ordained officiant, later made their commitment official on paper.
